When people hear the name of my company, Baobab Wealth Management, many of them ask me, “What is Baobab?” Well, Baobab is actually a species of tree that is native to Madagascar, Africa and Australia, but also lives in other warm tropical places like Hawaii. I was born in Zambia Africa and have lived almost half my life as an expat in tropical places where the Baobab flourishes. I have vivid childhood memories of the unique shape of the Baobab trees and of being in awe of their size.
The Baobab has always been a special tree to me and the analogy with this outstanding tree resonates with Baobab Wealth’s approach towards investing.
